Installing this on a modern Windows 10/11 machine was surprisingly smooth. Mr DJ’s repack strips out the intrusive GFWL (Games for Windows Live) remnants that plague older retail copies. It usually comes pre-patched with the necessary fixes to run at higher resolutions than 1080p. In my test, the installer took about 15 minutes on a standard HDD, and the final footprint was roughly 30% smaller than the original Steam install, yet the "High Quality" tag held true—the cutscenes looked crisp, and the lighting in the marshlands was intact.
