A quiet, misty hill town. An old haveli stands abandoned at the edge of the forest — locals call it “Chhalia Mahal” (Mansion of Deception). Children dare each other to touch its rusted gate; no one has ever entered and returned unchanged.

Riya follows her mother to the haveli. Inside, a single oil lamp flickers. On the wall — photographs of missing girls from the last 20 years. In the center: a mirror. When Riya looks into it, she sees herself… but older, bruised, and smiling sadly. The reflection mouths: “You’re already one of us.”

Riya assumes it’s a prank. But when she plays back a recording, the voice changes to a grown woman’s scream: “Don’t let her in.”

The mirror cracks. Lights out.
