The movie begins with Jagga (played by Ranbir Kapoor) living with his mother, Bela (played by Sarika), in Darjeeling. Jagga is a self-proclaimed detective who dreams of solving the ultimate mystery. When his mother goes missing, Jagga sets out to find her, only to discover that she has been kidnapped. The kidnapper, however, is not your typical villain - it's a quirky and charming character named Jaya (played by Sonakshi Sinha).
