1. Overview The IXP 400 (Integrated Communications Processor) is ATIβs second-generation Southbridge. It was commonly paired with the RS400 or RS480 Northbridge (for Intel) and RX480/RX482 (for AMD). It is known for being the first ATI southbridge to include native SATA support, though without AHCI.
